What's with Eminem's voice?

So I'd finally come to the conclusion that he was older now and so his voice had changed too. Now i see this video of him performing Stan in France and his voice is almost the same as it was on the song. So did he simply decide to change his voice after Encore or was it just the accent that made the voice sound different. Now i wonder if he can ever rap like "Forgot About Dre" again. anyway, for those looking for the vid... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MDgoQfJZug this link is poor quality but i just don't have the time to look for a better one.

I think the angrier voice is better. But when it comes to comedic celebrity bashing songs are better with the high pitched voice in my opinion

A lot of his older shit is very high pitched and annoying now that i listen to it. especially any song that features anyone else.
