on recovery he said his last two albums didnt count encore he was on drugs relapse he was flushin them out... well wasnt he on drugs from infinite up to tes and arguably some of his best songs were influenced from his drugs soo idk i understand hes nice off of them but idk..

My source is wikipedia, so might not be totaly right, but check this: prior to his sleeping pills dependence he was on Alcohol, Vicodin, Ambien, Valium and Methadone. Now alcohol and methadone are some serious shit. Don't know about the others though
anyway, he's been on (serious) drugs ever since. I didn't really think encore was that bad. definately some good ass tracks. My opinion though.

ambien and valium are sleeping pills... vallium not so much, ambien is strictly a sleep pill. Vallium is like xanax just not as potent.. its used for anxiety and to calm you down.

Im pretty sure you got your stuff mixed up.. The vicodin, ambien vallium and methadone came after proof ( im pretty sure ) ... It could've started around encore.. and just progressively got worse, and then proof happened, and thats when he went off the deep end.

And u know what... everybody hates on encore with no remorse... I don't get it... I mean i get it to a point.. but shit... it was a good album... no mmlp or tes... but its still a great album as far as lyricism goes... (i.e. puke) idk... i liked it. It's not HALF as bad as everyone says. I suppose as a whole the album isn't that great.
