Recovery sounds most like...

If you had to compare it to any previous Eminem album(s), which would you say?

No hate, but a few of the songs feel like they could've been on Encore (Cold Wind Blows, So Bad, Untitled, You're Never Over ---hook)

Almost Famous, Cinderella Man sound like some angry Eminem Show type shit

On Fire I could see as a bonus track from MMLP

WTP for some reason always reminds me of Hello off Relapse

I'm not sure. It sounds like a mix of all of them IMO, and to be completely honest, lyrically, I think it's his best CD. Relapse was great lyrically too..just hated his types of flows on it.

I really think it's incredibly unique. Untitled and CWB the only track that had moments that reminded of previous albums - some of the lines on both have that ironic MMLP feel. And maybe Cinderalla Man on TES.

But as songs as whole none of them do really, which is great.

I feel like it's a mix of his other albums yet at the same time doesn't really sound like any one album. Like ^ said, a couple songs have some TES or some MMLP feeling, but aside from those few, you can't really compare it to his other albums except quality wise, which is good.

It sounds the most like Encore. I've said it before, it's what Encore should've been. And it almost seems like it's what he wanted to do. Encore had a few songs about women (Puke, SST,Crazy in Love). Also, Encore was the most emotional album I think, this one is pretty emotional too. Only difference, is Recovery has more Shady tracks.

I agree and have thought that myself. I really think he is treating this as his follow-up to Eminem Show. Like he said, "them last two albums didn't count, Encore i was on drugs, Relapse I was flushin em out"

how does Almost Famous sound like TES? lol. it's straight out of MMLP if you ask me. so does Untitled and i could see On Fire there too.
Cinderella man has that TIC feeling, so it does sound like TES.
Love the way you lie reminds me off Spend Some Time, just a whole lot better.
