i like that even though Eminem doesn't sound like he did in his prime, he comes pretty darn close to it in some spots on Recovery. I also like how his tracks still grow on you so much to the point that you know all the words.

Ahh. There is just so much. And I don't think I'm a typical female fan. It's not cause he's 'hot' or anything like that.

Who else can rap about white trash shit and make it cool/nice/funny/etc.. and then turn around and rap about real personal shit. He can rap about anything, literally, and make it work. Make it flawless. To me, there is no other rapper who can pull that shit, like he does.

I also like how he raps about whatever the fuck he wants. He says what he wants and doesn't care. He doesn't let money get to his head. Which I think is one of the coolest things about Eminem. It seems he's always down to earth, normal type of guy. Yet, he is sittin on top.

Just shit like that. And of course the usual, his rhyming, lyricism, flow. Delivery. All of it. No one does it all as well as he does. Fuck.. try to rap. It makes you appreciate every thing that much more. Then you'll realize just how hard it is too. He makes it look so easy. Everything.

I like that Eminem is finally back, making music that i really fucking love...theres some music i just like, and i primarily abovce all else listen to metal now, but Eminem, that man made me realize that my love in life is music, and Recovery brings a SERIOUS feeling of nostalgia haha...I'd taken a big break from rap, but lately I've been bumpin a lotta my rap, mainly em's discography (minus encore and re-up), the D-12 albums and a few other songs...and the nostalgia is intense...I listened to The Eminem Show start to finish today, and it was almost like the first time I heard it...the lyrics, the flow, the beats, that's easily my fav album, i love that shit AND ima listen to recovery again in a bit

i like that he's like the only rapper that thinks of music as something real.

to explain, i'm sure Wayne and TI and everyone else are aware that they're doing music. but they rarely ever address music as a real thing, it's always some lame generic fantasy.

examples:

Wayne decides himself that he's the best rapper alive.
Eminem complains about actual top rappers lists that he's not on.

Eminem will actually reference his own past work in songs. (i.e. criticizing Relapse and Encore)

Eminem looks at all sides of being a celebrity at his level of fame.
everybody else apparently has unchanged lives with the exception of money and bitches.

so forth and so on.

It's hard to really describe, but i'ts a mixture. I grew up not knowing what rap is, and as many Em's music attracted me to the genre. His music(Lose Yourself) would be on the radio, and for some reason i felt his passion for what he does. The intensity of his flow, the amazing lyrics that frame a snapshot of life, and the flawless delivery. Idk what exactly but i know others feel it to. just the raw emotion that intertwines with the beat as if it was meant to be. He is normal and doesn't care for fame, but still attracts the audiences leaving them wanting more. I also love how he is honest and doesn't lie to make himself popular......*cough*mariah

Tbh Eminem isn't loved for meaningless things that can be replaced. He is loved for being himself, and letting his heart flow through his music.
He doesn't seem to worry about lyrics as much either, because really....sometimes he just uses whatever and the way he delivers it to the audience, it is truely a masterpeice.
His lyrics are amazing, but in reality someone with his lyrically skills aren't as good because he delivers certain words with so much emotion you can vibe whether or not it ryhmes.

Eminem,......is REAL and doesnt need to hide his secrets to be big. He can just connect with people,
