Yup the marshal mathers is still my favorite even so there is couple songs of it on curtain call and the when I'm gone song, curtain call can't beat the mmlp cuz the entire album is just the best !! I like the others to though

Actually The MMLP didn't make his famous The SSLP did and The MMLP is better lyircally then any album he ever recorded. Plus the songs on The MMLP have better concepts then the songs on his other albums. For example Stan the concept of a fanatic who writes Eminem a series of letters Eminem is too busy with his career to find the time to write Stan back. Stan takes it personally and gets upset so he reanacts wat Eminem did to Kim in the song 97' Bonnie and Clyde but istead of slitting his pregnant girlfriends throat he just throws her in the trunk and drives off a bridge. While doing so he's recording a tape for Eminem to let him know how hurt he is because Eminem didn't write him back. Meanwhile Eminem watches the news and see that Stan drove his car off of a bridge because he was so upset. The police find the tape but don't tell anyone who the tapes for. Eminem finds out the tape was for him. He writes Stan back but by that time it's to late. Just the concet of that song is the work of a complete genious. Plus the fact that through out the song Stan makes reference to other things like "Hey Slim I just drank a fifth of Vodka dare me to drive" or "Hey Slim thats my girlfriend screaming in the trunk but I didn't slit her I just tied her up see I ain't like u cause if she suffercates she'll suffer more then she'll die too". Come on u have to admit that only a genious could come up with something like that. On all his other albums theres not one song that can even be compared to the song Stan and many other songs on The MMLP.

why di u give me a storyline to "stan"

thats ONE song ...it had concept .. yes it was hot ...

but TES has incredible songs with far more complex lyrics
at the same time he still keeps his humor and doesnt only diss pop stars and talk about how he pops pills ....

he talk about politics the state of hip hop and proved to e worthy of respect
ITS IS TES that got eminem noticed by the peopl that didnt like him for his POPPY apearance (mainly intended for teens) .....and that actually means something... coz without being recognised by the HIP HOP fans(im saying this coz many ppl that started to listen to Eminem didnt give a fuck about hip hop before they started listning to em) he would have been another vanila ice to sell millions of record(dont take this too literal)..
Also eminem was then involved in real beefs .. wich gave hi more fuel for competion....

Out of all his album the MMLP was the most successful. Now on the other hand u are right alot of people who didn't like Hip-Hop listen to Eminem. They still do now. And I think lyircally the MMLP is the best.
