No that's not the point of criticism for intelligent people at all.

Point is, if I think something is a masterpiece I'm going to think that regardless. Regardless of what anybody else thinks, if I think it... I think it. But if I then go and see a lot of other critical thinkers think the same as me, it's liberating and refreshing.

It's also nice to see likeminded people digress on something sharing the same point of view but seeing things in a different way. Like any good conversation. So, if I think an album is a classic, it's only right to want to see it justified as such on a major scale. It's no coincidence that The Marshall Mathers LP is thought of as one of the most powerful hip-hop albums ever by most critics. It's not by chance. There's good reason for it.

There is such a good thing as good music and bad music. Good comedy, bad comedy. Hence why... Gervais continuously knows how to please. Despite everybody relying on the good old "Yeah but it's ONLY opinion" and "it's all subjective" anyway stuff, there is a point to it and it does matter.
What i was trying to say is for those who just read a bad review and suddenly step away from listening to records, Example:" I really want to listen to a Em cd that is coming out", (Next day after a bad review comes in) "They just gave a bad review so i'm not going to listen to it". That was the thing that i was trying to say. People who don't give the cd a chance because of the critics are sickening.

If you are influenced by a review then your opinion probably isn't worth much.

As long as you enjoy the music, fuck the bad reviews.
Yeah pretty much, Everyone should have their opinion and should not be lead by a group of people who think their right.

Guys we need to just realize that 'Recovery' might not get good reviews from the critics. Actually in general, critics dislike eminem. They always have. This goes back to the SSLP days. I dont know if it is his content or his vulgar language, but it's a typical reaction from reviewers. Em knows this as well. 'Critics man, how come they never have anything nice to say?'. General hip hop fans and em fans love this album. As long as Hip Hop in general respects the album, then thats all we need to know. That's who em made this album for.

Good comment, Critics from outside the hip-pop world should not review hip-pop albums, they do not understand what this whole culture is about.

For some reason, I don't see the fan's score.

Can someone post the current fan score?
