I don't know if this has been posted, but I thought it was pretty funny...

Eminem is looking to make a serious “Recovery” with his latest album of the same title, by shooting up to #1 in this weeks sales. Based on first day sales totals, Marshall Mathers is predicted to sell about 600,000 copies. Em’s 6th Studio album is also poised to be the highest selling album based on first week sales for 2010, besting Sade’s return with “Soldier of Love” which sold 500,000 copies in its first week.
“Recovery” has already begun to see its share of success, as the first single “Not Afraid” set the record for most digital downloads with nearly 400,000 downloads in its first week. With numbers like these it sounds like “Recovery” is going to be a repeat offender with its accolades. While most people felt Eminem’s career lost its furor after the lackluster release of “Encore“, those who know and love Slim Shady have seen a gradual return to his roots after the release of “Relapse” and now with what is looking to be a hugely successful album, “Recovery”.
Drake’s album will see itself at #2 this week, with more than likely the usual 50% drop off in sales from his debut week at 450,000. And coming in 3rd will be Miley Cyrus’s “C*nt Be Tamed“, with only 125,000 sales estimated by the end of the week. Those are pretty low numbers for the troubled Disney star, who seems to be falling into the same rut as Christina Aguilera with her album, “Bionic“.
I guess people are starting to turn away from the dark themed videos finally.
