Hip hop stars Lloyd Banks and Young Buck were among a dozen members of 50 Cent's "G Unit" record label arraigned Tuesday on gun possession charges.
The 12 were arrested at 11:15 p.m. Monday at 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue after a concert at Madison Square Garden, where Lloyd Banks and Young Buck performed, along with two of the rap world's top artists, Eminem and 50 Cent.
Police pulled over the van the entourage was riding in after it allegedly ran a red light. Officers found a loaded gun on Stephen Roker, 29, and another one under the front passenger seat, authorities said.
Everyone in the van was arrested and charged with criminal possession of the weapons.
Tuesday, 10 were released without bail. Roker posted $10,000 bail and Paul McFarlane, 29, posted $5,000 bail.
A source said Roker and McFarlane were the group's security guards and that the guns were not licensed in New York.
"G Unit" president Sha Money, who was in the courtroom Tuesday, said the van was pulled over after undercover officers followed the performers and their entourage from the garden. They were on the way to their hotel.
Lloyd, of Queens, a childhood friend of 50 Cent, whose real name is Christopher Lloyde, is a multimillion platinum record artist, according to Money. Young Buck, 24 whose real name is David Brown, is a performer from Nashville.
Attorneys Scott Leemon and Robert Kalina, who represented the dozen, had no comment.
All 12 are due back in court Dec. 1.
