Is The Underground Effect Because Of Dre?

Postby Fa-Q » Jul 9th, '10, 12:47

We know the most commercial Eminem albums were and are: Eminem Show, Encore, and Recovery and the most underground sounding are: SSLP, MMLP, and Relapse which Dre produced heavily. So is Dre's beats the underground feel or is it something else?

Actually Dre did not produce that much on SSLP and MMLP. He had 3 beats on SSLP and 6 on MMLP. Bass Brothers made the majority of the songs. And yes, they had a very specific raw and underground sound.. Too bad Em don't work with them anymore.
