In the 2nd Chapter, I literally just read this 5 minutes ago and thought I'd post this.
"Sexual rivarly pervades famous plot lines from Shakespear to Nabokov. It saturates the love songs sung by Al Green and the rhymes rapped by Eminem."
I found this interesting for the fact that I believe he mentioned him because of "Kim", but it's on the sub-section of this chapter and is titled "The heated Competition of Sexual Selection".
I don't know what other song he could be referencing




. i too love how books that have nothing to do with music reference eminem.
