I'm reading called "The Murderer Next Door: Why The Mind is Designed to Kill"

In the 2nd Chapter, I literally just read this 5 minutes ago and thought I'd post this.

"Sexual rivarly pervades famous plot lines from Shakespear to Nabokov. It saturates the love songs sung by Al Green and the rhymes rapped by Eminem."

I found this interesting for the fact that I believe he mentioned him because of "Kim", but it's on the sub-section of this chapter and is titled "The heated Competition of Sexual Selection".

I don't know what other song he could be referencing :unsure:

i remember reading the tenth circle, a novel by jodi picoult. and at one place it was talking about disloyalty and in the story, a student said that would be as if eminem went ahead and took down dr. dre. when i read that, i was like :o . i too love how books that have nothing to do with music reference eminem.

All that is cool,but there is a fucking Croatian book in which the main caracter when some music topic comes on says something like:fuck that pussy music,Eminem is where it is.And there is any another mention,also in some Croatian book where some dude is in his room and his mother comes in and says:"What is that you`re listening to";and he says:"Its Eminem,dont you know about Eminem,everyone knows about Eminem.He helps me relex when I think about my woman problems"(He`s prolly listening to Kim or Kill You).And now thats huge,when some writters from another country,small country mention you in their book.Respect Em :worship:
