I remember an interview where he mentioned that they lived in a trailer for a very short time,but otherwise they lived in a house.
As for his mom,i think he resented her the most when she told him she would rather see him die then Ronnie.That's a painful thing to say no matter if it was said at anger or not.That+all the drugs/whore etc things must have gathered up.It's hard to reconcile after all that's happened.And i didn't lose respect for him at all,didn't she sued him?LMAO

As for Debbie, Em has said in his songs that she was married a few times. He had a lot of 'stepdads' growing up. In addition to being a pill addict, Debbie also has Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy which is a disorder where a mother or any type of caretaker intentionally harms whoever it is that they're taking care of to bring attention and sympathy to themselves. That's a very serious disease and it often leads to the mother either purposely or accidently killing the child. There's actually some truth in what Em says about her mixing pills and whatnot into his food. I believe in his first ever Rolling Stone interview he said that she made him that that he had ADD and would make him take Ritalin. This is why he ended up adopting Nathan. Social Services took him out of Debbie's care when he was 9 and placed him in a foster home.


Plus, I'm not sure about the heart surgery, but it came out that Debbie lied about having cancer. Em paid all of her medical bills,so even though he doesn't have any contact with her, he still takes care of her.

He said so in a 04 interview with Sway on a football field. He didn't grow up in one or live there for long, he's not a product of trailer-parks but he did at one point.

I hate the fact that Em bashed his mom. So she was a whore, but she still raised him, and she did care for him too. I don't mind him making fun of her in some jokey songs but when he talked about it in a serious way like COMS it made me lose respect for him.

Things that explain his actions :
1-She sued him.
2-She wished he'd die.
3-He had no father.
4-She was popping pills.
5-She was unstable and she hits him so hard.
6-She fucks dudes even if Em was coming home or already home.
Anyways, he may have over reacted but hey...We don't know the real story and what happened and what didn't!So, don't just ditch him like its all his fault!

To be honest, most people's lives aren't much different lmao.

Especially in normal or poor families.

My mother used to say she wished me and my sister hadn't been born, all the time in arguments. And we'd always shout at each other to die, it's harldy a big thing. My mum is also a hypochondriac and is always bitching and getting medicines etc.

I do think Em has totally exaggerated how bad it was to some effect but he's also partly admitted that. In a 02 interview about The Eminem Show he said most the shit he goes through is no out of the ordinary it's just that he's a public figure and makes art out of it.

He maximises things for the sake of his work. Don't take it all to heart.

I can tell just from the way she speaks that she's similar to my mum as a character-type. She's over-protective (as fuck) and very very anxious. You can also see it from the home videos, the way she speaks to him etc.

But then when she shouts etc. I bet she speaks to him just like in "My Mom", as my mother is like weirdly child-like in the way she speaks when nice but then moody as fuck and like bitchy like that others, like a lot of people's mums.

She actually is.I read about it somewhere like a year or two ago.

I think she needed a heart bypass but was 50k short.And she has breast cancer.Not good at all.
Yet her son is like fucking rich but wont give her any money,well its her fault after all.
