And just when you thought today's news of Eminem leaks was over...
So, this guy on Twitter with the handle @Not_Afraid2Leak claims to have a bunch of unreleased Eminem tunes in his e-vault.
"This week is going to be full of leakage," he said after posting a link to one song. But, um, yuck. Full of "leakage?" Not sure that's the right terminology there.
But anyway, the song he did release? He says it's called "Topless" and it features Eminem and Nas. Don't get your hopes up, though: Em's verse sounds a lot like a ghostwritten verse for his mentor, Dr. Dre:
"West Coast, the home of the body bags/the shotty, the mag/Los Angeles where the party at?/You can catch me anywhere where there's Bacardi at/Yeah, Andre is back so have a cardiac," Em rhymes.
Unless he's taken on a California-based alter ego, it could be a track for Dre's upcoming "Detox" album. Listen to it in the audio player below, courtesy of Newjams.net:
In the meantime, the mystery tweeter took a few shots at Royce da 5'9, who was apparently unhappy about the leak.
"you want to hit me ?, go ahead i (expletive dare you to say yes...u thought leaking topless was bad?...go ahead say yes (expletive)," @Not_Afraid2Leak wrote. And that's just one of the nicer ones.
Royce shot back: "I wish you would board the shut the (expletive) up train n ride it all the way till you get to get shot in the head street.."
Add this to today's news of a possible Eminem/Dre/50 Cent/Jay-Z collaboration and the other match-ups we've talked about here, including Royce, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, T.I., Lloyd Banks and Nicki Minaj.
