Nah, Shady's not fully gone. He's present on Roman's Revenge. Whether or not you actually like it is up to you, but there are a few songs with that Shady craziness still there

People think Slim Shady is a definable character.

Eminem has NEVER stopped doing Shady. Name one album where it's not there and I'll show you how it's totally there, constantly lmao.

It's not a character it's a mindset. It's just a side to himself, in his music that he's chosen to name. You think "Cold Wind Blows" isn't Shady? I mean come on, it's constantly there. People think just because he hasn't got a nasal tone and is rapping about acid it's not Slim Shady lmao.

They're stuck with that one definition.

I definitely agree, I was just trying to put it simply to him. The Shady mindset is ever present on Recovery, it's just people don't see it because they're too busy trying to find the negatives when there are much more positives, and constantly loom with this mentality towards it instead of taking it for what it really is.

Cold Wind Blows is fucking vintage Shady, the perfect opener for Recovery. I was pleasantly surprised with this track when I first heard it. Anyone who argues about that song just doesn't know Eminem as well as he should to be on an Eminem forum

Came back to annihilate, the game's in dire straights, as I await
Word on Satan, as I drop, fall to my knees before this Quija board and I pray
Now I lay me down to sleep
I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake

I was joking about Shady being dead lol, I fully agree that CWB is vintage Shady thats also why it's my favorite Recovery song. Shady is also present on the Tim Westwood 2010 freestyle, almost the entire Relapse (serial killer shit was just 09 Shady with a new flow but not really a new style), a couple other songs on Recovery (On Fire, Cinderella Man, Untitled), Microphone, Romans Revenge and hopefully more to come in 2011 :y:

Slim Shady will never die he's made his appearances in many songs including my darling, underground, untitled and many more.

We always see glimpses of Shady each time he opens his mouth pretty much.
It's more then a alter ego now it's a part of what Eminem is as a person and the way he expresses himself through his music and touches everyone's lives making them wanna start rapping one day with their idols the same way all rappers do.

All Slim Shady is is the person that beats up all the bullies for Marshall and takes all the pills to save the real guy doing it himself.
It's therapy.
