Beautiful was from his first rehab stint, 2005, IIRC.

Lol no way. Difficult was 2006, soon after Proof died. Pretty much everything about it points to it being from that period.

Relapse definitely feels like you're shaking off the dust—it was like I could take the songs out of sequence and put them in order of when they were recorded, because the rhymes got so much sharper the farther you got from the drugs.

Eminem: You're right, my thinking became sharper again as I went along. If you were to take a song like "My Mom" or "Must Be the Ganja," those were cool—but they were the beginning stages of me coming out of the [addiction]. It wasn't until it got into songs like "Stay Wide Awake" that it felt like my mind got sharper. I became more on-point towards the end of recording the album. Right now, I feel like I'm more focused than I've ever been. I still feel like I have room to get better but I feel like I'm definitely on my game right now.

My guess is that CWYWF and My Darling were recorded in the end of his drugged-up era. Elevator definitely not, my guess is Wee Wee could be from that era ( Zac & Miri line ).

Btw, when were Things Get Worse and The Warning recorded?

The Warning was recorded after Mariah's Obsession video!!! Things get worst, in the autumn of 2009.
Btw stop this fucking fight about Beautiful. The song was wroght in the end of 2007!!! He wasn't "so fucking depressed" in 2005 and in that era he recorded other type of songs - more "gangstas" if you get me. My Mom and Must Be The Ganja are deff. one of the first songs for Relapse but idk if they're his first "sober" songs. I mean there's time to get sober, you can't stop taking drugs for one week for example and start changing your style right away!!! BTW The Apple is deff from his drug era, his voice, his flow show perfectly that he was still on drugs. I still belive CWYWF was from his drug era, i mean it's too depressive for a Post-King Mathers song, and he says: "and eight years later(from SSLP wich make it 2007), I'm still at it. Divorce, re-married. A felon. A father. Sleeping pill addict".

Actually, the "gangsta" era was at its peak in 2006-07.

And he was PLENTY depressed in 05. Go back and listen to When I'm Gone.

Careful What You Wish For was obviously an early 2008 song...he was clean, but still "working the drugs out of [his] system." He would never have admitted to an addiction in 07.
