Do you think we'll ever again hear

Postby RainMan44 » Jun 19th, '11, 04:26

an Em song where he doesn't, as he says, switch the flow up? As in, you know how he said for Recovery he "stopped doing what the beat says" and instead made his own little flows and shit? And now he flows his ass off most of the time and changes speeds continuously.

My question is, do you think we'll ever get a new Em song where he's just using a traditional flow on it? Just taking it bar for bar? Kinda like "My Name Is", "I'm Shady", and even more recent songs like "Elevator"?
"This dude doing this interview wants me to spin a few,
Lyrics while I tie my tennis shoes in the nude
A romantic interlude in a livin’ room,
In an inner tube with a dude with a bit of lube
Fuck that I’m sniffin’ glue, sippin' gin & juice,
And a little bit of paint thinner with my dinner too,
You better pay me for my bars like your rent is due,
Now hurry up and finish dude before I finish you."

Elevator is actually a pretty dope song. He sounded more like his old self back in '09 than he does now. Man I want beats like this now. And the flow. It's just overall dope

"Think about an escalator now, steps, I hate 'em
Told the neighbor step away, then I just pepper sprayed 'em
Yeah, for every time you ride down the street
Or hideout, drive by my house and beep
Like now motherfucker, try now to sleep
Lie down motherfucker, try countin' sheep
And you're tryna find out, why now there's beef?
Mase in your face bitch, cry now pussy
This is my house, all nine thousand feet
So you can suck my dick with Amy Winehouse's teeth
Then I shove 'em in the elevator, take 'em to the top
Stand above em,just to cut the fucking cable, let 'em drop
Walk an hour to the damn refrigerator, get a pop
While I let 'em fall all the way to the basement yelling stop!"

Now hurry up and finish dude before I finish you."

I just want the Seduction flow back. The double time flow he did in the second verse was insane.

I mean like....a flow where he goes bar for bar. Like he says a bar and ends it with a rhyme. Next one begins, he ends it with a rhyme...just takes it bar for bar. Not like he does now, where he might finish a bar's rhyme in the middle somewhere

in your opinion, did em use a new style in HTS or not? I mean, he is different from recovery of course, but the style(in HTS) is not a new style yet. Al least he isn't yelling that much these days

We'll have to wait until his next solo album for that I think.

Now he's rapping too fast too much?

You should add it to the TRshady whinge list.

Elevator is terrible anyway & has the most annoying delivery I've ever heard from Em.
