Relapse is the better album, the flow, delivery, wit and atmosphere is amazing, it is way more like the old Eminem than Recovery was (except So Bad & CWB), I'll admit to not liking the album at first because of the accents, and I probably posted here about it, but now I love them, this was Eminem really spazzing out, I'd have another "Buffalo Bill" over another "I'm on Everything" verse.

P.s music box is crazy

I don't know, a lot of people hated it, and it's the other way around.

I've always loved Relapse, and still do. I like Recovery more, though.

I love Relapse and Recovery equally, each for different reasons.

For me, Relapse was a way better album than Recovery. I can listen to all Relapse tracks today, but most Recovery tracks... I don't know, it doesn't have any replay value to me. The beats are trashy, there's too much yelling, he's saying so much stupid shit like 'Thank God I didn't diss Kanye or Lil Wayne, they would've kicked my ass', I mean, who the fuck are you? A big pussy? C'mon man, you're Slim Shady, not some kind of lame-ass bitch. I also hated the punchlines.

Relapse, actually, is one of my favourite albums. The flows, the multies, the humour, the insane beats, you know, it's real classic music that I can still listen to. Add Refill to it, which had so much great tracks, and you get to the point where Relapse >>>>>>> Recovery.

I'm 15 years old... So I wasn't the biggest Eminem fan from 1999-2004 :D '

Because I was too young... But I always loved his songs back then... But I didn't follow him as much as I do now... So when Relapse came out... I was so excited ... And I loved it the most and thought that it was his best album... So I started to listen to his earlier albums ...And then I realized what a stupid fool I was... But I still love Relapse :D

The Marshall Mathers was a classic

But Encore just didn't have the caliber to match it
I guess enough time just ain't passed, yet
A couple more years, that shit'll be ill-matic "

Every album, especially talking about hip hop albums, needs its own acceptation time, and maybe many people started criticysing it too early...and maybe now they are changing their opinions a little bit.

Relapse is starting to become a classic, and recovery is going to be a classic too, there are people who consider them clasics now, but what I mean is the more time passes the more classic they are going to be...so eminem don't have to pay attention to the first critics

Only real Stans would consider Relapse or Recovery classic albums. They got good songs on them but that doesnt qualify it as classic, and I doubt anyone off this site considers either classic.

Personally, I love Relapse a lot more now that I know Em has moved past that stage. I can appreciate it in retrospect.
I do stand up.

^ Amazing album. Thankyou Marshall

  Relapse sucked. Beautiful was good. Annnnnnd I think that was about it.

But just to put things in perspective, Encore was MUCH worse.

As for Recovery.. :y: :b: :worship:
