Come to think of it, I have aswell. Or people say things like "You're a really nice person, considering you're black". I think it's always been a joke everytime I've heard someone say it though.

I don't think Em should of apologized, he's been friends with black people all his life, so what the fuck is everyone talking about?

To be honest, there's people out there who think being friends with black people doesn't prove you're not racist (although I think it does, surely, since you can't hate black people, and then be friends with one).

Also, about Em being more popular back then than he is now, that's definitely very true, but he was also more hated back then. A lot of people used to vocally hate him, but now the haters are either keeping more quiet, or they're liking him more. You don't really see so much hate on him now like you used to. I think he's much less controversial in general now, so people have less strong opinions on him either way. So that would be an advantage about racist tapes being leaked now compared to before, in the sense that there's less people who really hate him to make a even bigger fuss out of it.

That said, even that aside, I don't think it would get him that much criticism. Like Eminem admitted to prematurely ejaculating, for example. After he did that, I was expecting everybody to make jokes about it, and ridiculing him (as I'm sure they would've done if any other famous male on the planet said that), but I didn't see anything at all. Obviously, racism is on a different level to ejaculating early, but you know.

I mean, Em was only a kid..And was just pissed off that some bitch dumped him..
He probably just had a ignorant opinion about woman at that time as well..

I've always thought it was absolutely hilarious that people got worked up over 16-year-old Em saying "I don't fuck with that n*gger shit" or whatever the hell he said when this is EMINEM we're talking about. The guy wrote multiple songs depicting the graphic murder of his wife and the disposal of her body for God's sake, and they're really going to flip over like two lines? LMAO. It just never made sense to me. He obviously writes whatever the fuck he wants to write when he's pissed off, especially when he's pissed off at women.
