Eminem may not have toured much this year, but he didn't have to. The now legendary MC took home over $3 million for two nights of work at the UK's V-Fest. Also, Em's latest solo album, Recovery, topped over 5.7 million units sold in 2011. The usually reclusive rap star was more visible than ever this year commercially when he smashed Superbowl XLV by appearing in not one, but two memorable and lucrative commercial spots for Lipton and Chrysler. Once more, Shady Records strengthened it's roster with signings of rap warriors, Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf. "Fast Lane" and "Lighters," off Eminem and Royce Da 5'9"'s collaborative and certified-gold effort, Bad Meets Evil, were commercially successful, going gold and platinum, respectively. Even in an off-year, King Marshall is still raking in the big bucks, thanks in a big part to his undeniable talent and powerful team.
