With one final interview, Sway of MTV decided to hit up long time friend Eminem to seal the deal on rumors regarding Eminem's final solo release, supposedly titled "Funeral". The episode will air on MTV and MTV2 on 6/1/12, but instead of waiting, we found a leaked copy of the the interview, read here:
Sway: So how you been Em?
Eminem: I been pretty good man. *Chuckles*
S: So man, Recovery, Slaughterhouse, Shady 2.0, the whole BET Cypher... what's next?
E: Detox. *They both laugh* Nah but, I hate to say it, but my final album.. is.. uh, next.
S: Final album?! You just came back in the game!
E: Yeah but, ever since I've been working with Slaughterhouse and the whole Shady 2.0 crew, uh, I've just been focusing on 'em, and I wanna move towards the whole, uh, production stage, you know?
S: I understand man, now quick question: how did you feel about your "Richard" verse?
E: I think it's beautiful, better than all three verses on "Lose Yourself", *chuckles* but nah, me and Obie were just fucking around when we did those verses, but.. mines.. is still better. *They both laugh*
S: So, back on topic. What's this about a final album?
E: Yeah, it's called "Funeral", because, uh, I'm not creative at all and I kinda wanted a closing album, and to make it obvious also.
S: "Funeral"? Sounds pretty good to me man. Well Em, it's been good talking to you man.
E: Yep, same here. And to MTV, PEACE!
