P.S. Like what bigray said, not all Arabs are muslims, Lebanon is full of christians, we have many christians here in Jordan as well. It's like, for every 5 muslim families, there's one christian family.

I have to agree with the ignorance people have about Arabs nowadays, and since 911 you really have seen how idiotic some people can be when they make comments. Alot of Arabs in Israel(especially Nazareth) are Christian. I have no idea why there is an assumption that 99 percent of arabs are muslim.
An arab female could be NOT wearing a hijab, have a big christian cross dangling from her neck with a sign that says I"m not muslim and people would still assume she is muslim
And like you said groups like Al Qaeda are not respected so it amazes me how many people over here in the states will assume that groups like that are respected by the Islamic community.
We don't assume that Cubans like Fidel and Raul Castro so why we would assume ignorant things about the arab word...I have no idea
