Do you think his next album will outsell Recovery?

I'm not completely sure about that. His newer fans who started to follow him because of Recovery's poppy singles might not like the image and won't bother .(as someone else noted earlier in the thread, I think).

He had more fans with that image than he did with the Recovery image. I'd say Eminem was a lot more popular in, say, 2002 than he was in 2010, so I don't think going back to that image would hurt him very much, probably the opposite (although I don't want it to happen for other reasons obviously).

Although baggy clothes in general don't seem to be popular in hip hop anymore. I think the hip hop style from the early 00's looks so much better than all the tight "indie" clothes that a lot of rappers wear now. Back then, hip hop artists were leading the worldwide fashion trends amongst the younger generation, but now they're following it.

thats actually a really good point, and my guess is he that he simply isnt the same person he was back in '02-'04, which is understandable.

even if he'd produce it, that'd make it closer to tes than any other album

i mean the direction of content, mixture of sound ect. i just think at this point in time the general public would swarm on it

I don't know about that, but I feel that his next will be known more for it's musical aspect. Just a thought that came into my mind.
