its funny how Everyone says that Em has been complete shit in his "recent" work in this past year. LOL WHAT HAS HE EVEN FUCKING DONE IN RECENT TIME that people are judging him LMFAO. Kendrick is one or my favorite rappers right now & he's dope as fuck but as an MC he's nowhere near all way rounded as EM is so if someone would be uncomfortable when they record together, it'd be him not EM.
People still don't understand EM ''garbage'' verses are only kinda weak comparing to his better ones & to like what 10% of the other rappers could do while they are from really good to phenomenal to what the other 90% of the rappers out there could do.
EM has been out there writing & rapping for nearly 20 years now so with so many lines behind him isn't easy at all to sound fresh & not repeat himself but he's always coped with it. All the verses you put up there as bad ones or garbage are nowhere near that. I admit they are not something great but overall they are good verses & still impossible for most rappers.

Not trying to be a dick but why do you think "The City" is his best. Nearly everything on OD and most of Section.80 is better IMO. It's a good verse though, but what makes it stand out to you? (I don't want this to come off wrong, not being hostile at all. I'm just wondering.)

I probably used the wrong word. Its my favorite not his greatest. Well there are verses with emotion (The Heart part 2) or straight spitting thats crazy (Rigarmortis) or great social commentary (Ronald Regan era) but the FLOW on this record is absolutely banana. It reminds me of Eminem's verse in Haile's song- the track itself is good and everything is dope until he just GOES, on a tangent like he forgot the beat was there, like the artist is speaking to themselves, enjoying the complexity of their own wordplay. Its that other-worldly FEEL of the track that elevates it for me. Just look at the video with his hands moving and the intent in his eyes and the energy leaps of the page. Its the type of verse that makes you stand-up and make a fist pump when its just acapella!! lol

The lyrics dont hurt either. The boxing wordplay was dope. So was the intricacy of the Hook (which is also part of the verse). It address a topic which has been beat down to death yet in such a refreshingly great way that when you almost go "oh, another line about haters" he says words that make you confused and unsure anymore.

Like i said, even when Lose yourself or Stan might be eminem's greatest or fan favourite, its verses like the No Love or Haile's Song verse that make you wait for the verse WHILE the song is playing that i particularly enjoy.

The rhymes might be fine (although they still aren't even that great) but the lyrics still suck. You can jizz to rhymes all you want but they aren't lyricism's only aspect. It was NOT a well written verse.
