I love you Daren
With his recent departure from Shady Records, West Coast rapper Ca$his hit up SOHH to give his take on longtime friend/mentor Eminem building up the label with acts like Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf.
Despite no longer having Shady Records stamped on his records, Ca$his said he still has nothing but love for his ex-boss.
"I'm happy that Eminem is trying to further build the brand up. That's what he's supposed to do," Ca$his told SOHH. "I salute that. I definitely salute that. I'm not too up on everybody's material. I've been in the lab. When I'm in the lab, I don't listen to other people's music. I don't want my music to sound like theirs. So I don't know too much about what's going on but I'm glad that Eminem's still giving people jobs and employing, giving them a chance to put other people on at the same time."
He also applauded Em for continuing to keep hip-hop alive by taking chances with artists.
"That's the beauty of the rap game to me," Ca$his added. "He's helping people get money and having them put people on the same way. So as long as you keep opening doors for others, you'll always be blessed. That's the reason why Em stays blessed." (SOHH)
