Sorry guys but its SSLP all the way for me. First Em CD I listened to from beginning to end and was hooked. But I'm not denying Relapse- its still top notch.

Slim Shady LP I think is better than Relapse.

Slim Shady LP had the song that MADE Eminem. The Bass Brothers/Dre did a better job with the beats overall. His dark humor is more entertaining on SSLP. It also has Rock Bottom. Em was just way hungrier back then.

Relapse is fucking awesome though don't get me wrong.

SSLP was raw. In relapse it sounded like he was trying too hard to rhyme and show he still had it. Great album though

While Relapse is impeccable,SSLP is impossible to recreate.

SSLP is my favourite. He's energetic, witty, youthful and very original with his rhyme combinations. Relapse is a solid album.
