There's a difference between placing top five on a hip hop list, and placing top 10 on an all time list. For that matter, I dob/t think any rap album belongs this high.

Hmm, bold statement. I don't listen to enough other genres to really know, but I do know there are same damn near perfect hip-hop albums.

Whoops, I somehow misread your initial post and thought you wrote that MMLP often making top five lists.

I did, lol. It was a typo. My bad.

I still think there must have to be so many perfect albums in other genres to keep some hip hop albums out of the all time list.

Nice vague biased statement there.

You have to justify why they should be seen as the best, not just appeal to the masses.

See the thread reinforcing the notion that Relapse is a steaming pile of shit.

Yeah but purple haze mazy amazement through ecstatic as donkeys wild cats around the amazon.

So, that's what you get when yellow mix nuts with ginger speakers. Fact.

Pretty sure the Beatles aren't a hip hop super group.

Broaden your tastes in music.

And hell yeah MBDTF is that good. Yall would be bouncing off the fucking walls if that was The Eminem Show or something without question of it's placement.

Hell no it AIN'T that good.

MBDTF a better body of music than Ruuber Soul?

An album of Kanye's delusional race ramblings, some subpar rappers and a contrived metaphor to tie it all together; better than every Beatles album bar Revolver?

The list is absurd. And no, I'd even say it's absurd to put TES there.

Then I laugh when people think Yellow Submarine is a better song than Sing for the Moment. Nobody is "right".

You and are are the same way. I don't like their music either. I can respect what they've done but I like a lot of hip hop albums better than every fucking Beatles album lol. I just don't like them, I think they are boring.

We are a younger generation though, growing up with different music. I'm sure if one of us (as in the whole forum) ever become writers for a magazine that we will give lists and our lists will be full of Eminem and other artists that we like lol.
