Seems like Em praises everyone that he's involved with nowadays.

Good point actually... Em's been a lot into politics since his comeback.

I'm not sure if it's about politics.

It's probably a lot to do with the "keep it positive" vibe of AA.

And the fact that, to him, receiving the "going soft criticism" is probably more preferable than the stress of getting angry at people/rappers/family/critics/government all the time.

Or maybe it's just a mid-life crisis where he lets go and says "meh, fuck it" to everything.

He hasn't actually expressed an opinion about the world around him since 2002. He's become very boring and self-indulgent in that way.

I think after Relapse, Eminem got confused about what's good and what's not, because of the reaction, seeing people like Lil Wayne getting a huge buzz, and thinking to himself: this must be what people like, this is good otherwise Wayne wouldn't be as big as he was.

Eminem said that at first he didn't like wayne, and then when he listened to Lil music again (probably when he wanted to see why he was praised) his mindset changed, and he started to like what he was hearing. his Recovery puns and punchlines are all influenced by YM.
