I never cared much about FLAC
Is it THAT better?
Lol Not really offtopic, this whole thread has become solely FLAC related.
Yes, it is If it's real.
When you record a song it isn't 5mb I dunno bout the million dollar major studio's and shit but wav files are like 50- 100mb after mixed. When it's turned into an mp3 its compressed and loses quality. Flac is, or is closer to the original file it was recorded as. Obviously this can be broken down way better but that's the jist.
i tought FLAC was the same quality as WAV but only smaller size,
A mp3 file deleted the highest and lowest sounds i tought,
For the avarege music listener i think it's no difference, FLAC files are mostly used by real music freaks or collecters + you have to instal special software to play it on your computer and it doesn't play on your mp3 player or in your car....
So i think for mst people a 320 Kbp MP3 is the best option (or WAV if you have a massive of hard drive space)
I think to have the best quality EMINEM songs you best Rip the vinyl to WAV than to FLAC or else Rip the CD-album to WAV and convert to FLAC....
So MP3 converted to FLAC are pretty useless, unless you have no other source
I just started collecting FLAC for my other favorite band (nirvana) so i'm not a pro just beginner
finaly a good topic in the EM section and nothing about speculation about upcoming albums or stupid elimination games
