Im not a big em fan. The only songs i really like are serious ones. i can name a few

Like Toy Soldiers
MockingBird
Haylies Song
When Im Gone
Lose Yourself
Sing For The Moment

And those are the only eminem songs i really like. songs like Fack and My Name is are just annoying to me. Anyone else feel this way??

well kind of...

I mean i think em does make humorous songs like "kids", "our house" "my fault" , "cani-bitch" that ARE helarious and are suitable for older categories of people, but there are songs like "real slim shady" and "just lose it" that make me wanna hate eminem, coz its plain stupidity aimed to gain controversy to apeal to 13 year old kids. The same reason is why i never embrased eminems music until TES came out followed by 8-mile, thats wen i saw the "hip hop" side of him..

i mean, form the beginning, he's always been funny and serious at the same time.

sslp has got some real shit on there, but at the same time, there's the light hearted funny stupid songs on there as well. that goes for every album.

i mean, every good rapper is like that. they can't just have one style and constantly do the same type of shit. just like kuniva said, you can't go around killing people on records all the time. you gotta smile and relax.

2pac was like that. he could so a song like california love, which is one of the best party songs in my book , and turn around and come out with some real emotional shit like dear mama.

i appreciate all sides of em, not just the "serious" songs. i mean, i do tend to listen to those songs a bit more, but when i'm in the mood, i love to play the wicked humourous songs.

we all have opinions and certain preferences... it's not like if it's a funny, pop first single, i'ma automatically hate it. and it's not like if it's a real hard, serioius song, i'ma automatically like it. i dont' believe in categorizing and spearting an em's work... cuz em is all that, and more.

I like almost all of his songs, and you need to change it up you can't just make the same type of music. If 2Pac didn't put different emotions in his music I doubt he would be looked at the way he is looked at today. There are some people who like the Facks and My Name Is; there are also the people who can't stand them songs. So whenever somebody say they like them just shut the fuck up, cuz I'm pretty sure just as many people would stand up for My Name Is as would stand up for Like Toy Soldiers.
