I know what you mean, his greatest songs have good lyrics but they seemed simpler and more understandable. It seems like now he's REALLY trying to have complicated structures and flows, just a way to keep making songs fun I think.

I agree. Throughout his career, he's lyricism has improved. I think that people can interpret his actual song content for themselves, but I prefer a safe mix of the craziness and the personal songs. I think people forget how personal some of his songs have been, so its understandable that he doesn't make those types of songs all the time.

Well based on the input, I think it's safe to say that Eminem fans are still attracted to his personal side and would like to hear more from that angle. Let's hope that's the case in Relapse 2. Great lyrical ability, and deep meaning--exemplary in songs like "Cleaning Out My Closet".
