i dont think it will be like relapse 1, will be simular but not like it. many of the songs will be more recent so may be slightly different.

The 1st single you would guess would be a shady single, but you never know, looking forward to it though already

Seeing as how Em and his label are scared to release an album without an extremely poppy first single, I'm guessing it will be another song akin to We Made You.

But I hope since We Made You did a lot poorly than his other singles, that maybe the label/Em will make a song that follows more a "Crack A Bottle" vibe (minus the 50 Cent verse).

And Chet, I can see how you think it won't be called Relapse 2 but I can't help but think is. My wish is that it gets renamed and is released in 2010 and won't follow his wanna-be Shady motif and will have classics such as "Deja Vu" or 'Beautiful" and not songs like that make me embarrassed to be an Em fan, such as "Bagpipes from Baghdad".

I'm personally glad that the majority of Relapse is concept and twisted violence.

He sums up all that needs to be said about his drug stint and thoughts on "Beautiful" and "Deja Vu" - Done. No more needs to be said on it, anymore would sound forced. It's a nice balance.

What I am hoping he reignites on R2 though is his original wit / punchlines. He's too literal at present.

Not to be a dick, but if you want "twisted violence" there's everything from SSLP, MMLP, Devil's Night and guest spots for that.

And the violent lyrics on Relapse sound way forced. Especially after he made the move in his career from violent lyrics (SSLP, MMLP) to more dark personal songs (TES/Maybe Encore).

Personally, I just like songs where Em can rap well (no gay accent) and doesn't have cliche lyrics. The best thing that Em used to have is he'd write for a good reason, and now he's writing to just to write shocking (not a good reason to write).

It just seems like he can't be clever enough to think of the next move so he asked Dre "What do people want to hear from me". It's always easy to go to an extreme and say the most fucked up shit; it's hard to make clever rhymes and make that fucked up shit make sense (which Relapse his 1 or 2 songs that do that).

Honestly, I care less what he raps about, as long as it's hot lyrics/rhyme patterns, crazy flow, hot beats. And as long as he doesn't sound like the bonus tracks, which are good but for the Encore period only.

Careful What you wish for was Relapse worthy(with a 3rd verse)but not my Darling.Crack a bottle should definitely of been left off as it doesnt fit in at all with the albums concept.

The beats sound cheap, the vocals don't sound as clear as anything on Relapse quality wise. And the rhyme patterns are weaks. Beautiful is kinda like that but the beat is amazing and there's more emotion and more relatable. Don't get me wrong, they are good songs but those two reminds me too much of the Encore period.
