Eminem is an international house hold name, a superstar, known worldwide.

Beautiful is not only a great musical song, but out of all the singles on Relapse you'd have thought this was the best chance of a no.1

The song will probably scrape into the UK top 10 at best, and for Eminem this is poor.

at the end of the day, it was all because the singles were released when Relapse was..... Hopefully they won't do it this way with Relapse 2.

And no "Beautiful" aint a flop, it may increase in sales next week, who knows, if you want a flop then look at britney spears, another worldwide artist but she can only manage #63 in the UK chart with "Radar"

I agree with "Chart position is no inclination of quality" completely but I do consider Em pop-hip-hop (as in Popular Hip Hop). Songs like "We Made You" are extremely poppy and he knows it (that's why he releases them as first singles).

I'm not saying ALL his songs are pop or anything. Nevertheless, someone like him should be doing a lot better on the charts regardless - he's legendary and built a great empire of hits.

ANYONE can get a number 1, hell if Peter Kay can, i could. The most poppy bullshit usually makes the cut nowadays, so it's no suprise Beautiful ain't at Number 1. Although the songs has been out for ages and is probably gonna climb higher. As for Em's record in the charts, times, technology and tastes means it's harder for him to maintain the record, especially with non pop like songs
