aftermath entertainment & shady records are both subsidiaries of Interscope. dr dre is the CEO of Aftermath. eminem & paul rosenberg are the co-CEOs of Shady Records. so i guess dre & eminem are equal.

but dre's been there since 1996, eminem established Shady in 1999, so dre would have more power & influence, i guess. eminem has clearly been more successful & if eminem got dropped from the label i'm sure he would be crying himself to sleep in his kingsize bed in his ensuite on story 5 of his detroit mansion.

Shady Records was established after the Slim Shady LP dropped, so it was around 2000.

Jimmy Iovine is the head honcho, no doubt about that. Nah, Eminem won't Dre's equal. I'll always view them as Eminem the student, Dre the teacher, even though Dre didn't necessarily teach him how to rap; he already knew how to before being signed to Aftermath.

Dre is head of Aftermath, CEO, Em is head of Shady. but Em is signed to Aftermath. Em is not signed to his own label, and D12 is who he signed first, not Obie. just like 50 is Shady/Aftermath and not G-Unit. get it?

I doubt Eminem is the kind of person who would want to sit in a large armchair behind a fucking large desk stacked with papers and who has to fly across the world once a week or more.
