Even tho i really believe relapse 2 will be insane, i said the same thing about relapse and even tho it was a really good album, my expectations were wayy too high so it didnt live up to them. the difference here tho is that he has the material to back it up, everything hes put out recently has been absolute fire. im just tryin not to have unrealistic expectations. but i do think it will blow people away

I feel the exact same. I wasn't having high hopes for R2...I was expecting it to be like Relapse, ok, but not amazing...but then we got the Warning, Forever, the BET cypher, and the little info. we got from Em about R2...and I can't help but feel that this is gonna be amazing album...but I don't wanna get too hyped up cause it might not live up to the hype.
Let's hope though that it SURPASSES expectations

Slow fall? He went from Lose Yourself in 2002 to Encore in 2004, lol...

Right now he's not on the level he was from 1997-2002, but he's a lot closer than he was from 2003-2007 (Pillinem Era).

I was the exact opposite. I was expecting an album full of crack a bottle type songs so Relapse seemed really good to me.

Word. Think about the way Tech portrayed a pyscho in KOD.
He was a proper agro-male using his normal voice and straight up letting you know about his base animal instincts. Em portrayed, at times, a homo sounding serial killer freak. Wtf was he doing rhything about wearing panties for example ?

Umm. Serial killers aren't normal people, last time I checked. So Tech doing an "I'm a serial killer" song with a normal voice would seem ridiculous to me.
