imagine eminems lost tapes album

Ok we all know Nas released one what was nasty and is now releasing another... I think eminem should do this with all the songs from gettn signed fetid and the hiatus. He took it would be crazy to see thhat come out when he was in the middle oreleasing an album since it wouldn't take long to pop that out

Would be cool. I reckon there would be at least 1 bona-fide classic that he never ended up putting out through the years.

That would be cool if he showed them which time period they came from...or maybe the tracklist is in chronological order

I have wet dreams about this kind of stuff....

It's a real shame Em isn't more active.
He has so much potential and I truly believe he could make more classics if he was more consistent like Nas or how Tupac was.

He could be doing

-Collaboration albums with artists he admires like Redman, Andre 3k, or even 50 Cent since they always bring out the best from each other when they're on a track together.

-Double albums, since he records so much material when he's in album cycle. I'm sure he has some hidden gems that just go to waste if he doesn't release them. Why not just put out double albums? It wouldn't hurt to have some extra music by him.

-Compilations albums full of unreleased material over the years. I'm sure there are tons of vintage SSLP, MMLP and TES era material that haven't and probably never will see the light of day.

-Mixtapes as a gift to his fans for supporting him throughout his career. It's the least he can do for us in exchange for helping him reach over 85 million album sales worldwide and becoming the best selling artist of the decade right?

-EPs with 5-6 tracks and sell them for $4.99. I really like what he did last year by releasing Refill. I think he should just drop some Eps every now and then to keep the buzz around his music going strong kind of like how Lil Wayne does (but Wayne's music is garbage, so it doesn't matter how much material he releases.)

Another important factor for all of this is his age.
I think his time in hip hop (as far as rapping) is almost running out....He really needs to take advantage of his skill and his fame like Jay-Z and Nas do before he's too old.

When he retires, I'm sure Interscope is going to milk the shit somehow. If he has lived in the booth for most of his career, there should be material enough to make a pretty good album.

I havn't heard a single bad verse from him in 98-02 and he has written and recorded way more than those 60 (+/-) tracks that ended up on his first three releases. We have never heard the joint he did with Rakim back in the days, have we?

I wouldn't be surprised if the success Nas enjoys with his Lost Tapes could inspire Eminem and Interscope to do the same thing. Rap is also a young man's game so they cant wait forever to release such an album - they need to take advantage of the hype before it dies.
