Brittany murphy said that em was making songs for encore during 8 mile. And em has also said that his addiction began was in 2002. And im pretty sure we as americans, love you more, etc that got leaked were made in 2002. So, i guess yes.

Amadeo wrote:But the thing that really interested me was 6:05--is he quoting lyrics from "Encore" (the song) here? Did he write that song as early as the TES promo era?

And here's another clue: at 9:00--he's quoting lyrics from "6 in the Mornin'" from the D12 World album. So he was writing THAT song as early as 2002 as well.

No and no.

He doesn't quote lyrics from Encore. He says "The-the-the Doc", which for all we know could've been a nickname he'd been using for Dre for years. Just cos he said it in Encore doesn't mean it was a term specifically coined for that song or that he'd NEVER said it before he wrote Encore.

He isn't quoting "6 in the Morning". He's quoting "The Warning" by Biggie.
"Hyperwarp to Automator's crib and light the torch
They can't fight the force
Victory is ours once we strike the source
Enterprising wise men look to the horizon
Thinking more capitalism is the wisdom
and imprison all citizens, empower with rhythm
We keep the funk alive by talking with idioms"

He's still goofy as fuck in this era, though.

I thought he was still a dope emcee in 2002 and the decline started in 2003.

But he obviously became a full-blown pill addict in 2002.

I guess you can say his decline started after the AMT in North America ended, in September 2002.

Started early 2004 in my opinion. His features in 2003 were fantastic. Take a look at Obie's album "Cheers". I don't remember anything pre-Encore being dreadful.

Eminem became an awful rapper? Well, sir, you're the one to go fuck yourself. You think he was a bad rapper on Encore?

Eminem started with the ambien during the 8 Mile shoot when he had like 5 hours to sleep each night. He's been quoted to say "most" of The Eminem Show he recorded sober. He had definitely started the decline at that point.
