YELLIN'! It's all a ruse, an excuse to not like Recovery.

To make this easier for some of the slower folk on this site. Let's do a little checklist to see on which tracks Em is YELLIN' on. Is this okay with you? fine then, let's begin...

1. Cold wind blows - nope
2. Talkin' 2 myself - again no
3. On fire - absolutely not
4. Won't back down - Yes he is
5. W.T. P - No sorry
6. Going through changes - You know the answer
7. Not afraid - Slighty
8. Seduction - slick as can be, no YELLIN' on this one people
9. No love - no
10. Spacebound - only in the third verse
11. Cinderella man - Yep
12. 25 to life - Yes again
13. So bad - No
14. Almost famous - yes sir. (sound good don't it?)
15. Love the way you lie - Yep
16. You're never over - Finally no

Five records out of sixteen. Hmmm, not so bad huh?

Now, he may use an aggressive tone in his voice on those tracks & that maybe the reason why you dislike them, that's fine & dandy. However, when you say you hate or loathe Recovery because he's YELLIN' all the time, That's simply not right & is in fact wrong.

This very much reminds me of when fans state that they dislike Relapse because he use's that Arabian accent on every track. When really in truth, there's probably only about four songs with the so called accent.

So in future, when stating your reasons as to why you don't enjoy Recovery. Be honest, you simply don't like his delivery or voice on the records. Don't go with the straight easy excuse of YELLIN' & SHOUTIN'.

It's his post-Recovery work where that fucking delivery ruins his verses (especially the ones where his voice is shot as fuck) - Recovery's delivery is fine on the whole.
