Fire Marshall

I think we can all agree that in the last year and a half, Marshall Mathers has developed a new alter ego that now co-exists next to the previously known "Eminem" and "Slim Shady". Said alter ego has been named Fire Marshall. He appears in parts of Recovery, post-Recovery features and throughout the new BME EP.
Fire Marshall is briefly characterized by the following:

- 1000mph flow
- excessive use of (usually wack) punchlines
- angry voice, "screaming"
- exorbitant misogyny
- lack of rhythm
- wierdly structured writing, not clearly displaying the rhyme schemes
- muting the instrumental before each chorus and screaming the last few lines of each verse acapella

What do you think of Fire Marshall? Is he a welcome energetic diversion to what we're used from Eminem or has the world heard enough of him?

Yes, I knew sooner or later these type of comments would come. I wasn't bitching, I was trying to define Eminem's new persona and asked how he is recieved among the fans.

Hm, that's a tough one.
I'd have to say Marshall Mathers, Eminem, Slim Shady, Fire Marshall and that white guy from D12


On the real though, Eminem (in his prime) is my favourite rapper and I do believe that the stuff he did from '97 - '02 is untouchable, but I'm very critical of him too and most of his new musicn just tends to be completely unbearable.
My other favourite rappers are Hopsin, as you mentioned, J. Cole, Nas, Mos Def, Black Thought, Jus Allah, Lupe Fiasco, Talib Kweli, .. the list could go on, but I think those are the rappers I listen to the most currently.
