Eminem & Lil Wayne

Postby Man1x » Jul 22nd, '11, 22:11

Anyone notice how every time that Eminem gets on a song with Lil Wayne his verses actually have emotion not Recovery yelling? Like you can feel the emotion, it's like an energizing feeling of triumph, if I could put in words. It's like he is trying harder than usually when he goes with Wayne even though he doesn't have to, cause Wayne sucks and anyone can write better than him. But it feels like he is trying to prove himself.

for some reason i think eminem thinks lil wayne is dope, i know a lot of people saying that he dissed him on no love.
but if eminem thinks that wayne is good , it's easy to see why he is trying harder.

Lil Wayne features on every single imaginable, so Em wants to be that guy? Either that or he feels guilty about wanting to diss him.

But you can really notice it in Lil Wayne collabs.

Hopefully never again but if it happens, Lil wayne's album not Eminem's

I have absolutely nothing against Eminem collaborating with Lil Wayne. Seriously, why does it get so much hate? The fact of the matter is, when Eminem has collaborated with Lil Wayne, he has produced some excellent verses. His Forever verse was dope, his Drop The World verse was dope and his No Love verse was dope. With this track record why would not not want Eminem to collaborate with Lil Wayne? He steps his game up.

I'm not a fan of Young Money, not at all. I just don't see why people hate Em collaborating with Lil Wayne so much when he's produced some excellent verses. :confusion:

Just to be clear, if I could choose someone to collaborate with Em, it wouldn't be Wayne.

'Cause some people really don't want to hear Lil Wayne on a Eminem song, like me.

Especially when he'll make awesome verses no matter who he's collabing with, infact, imagine what he would cook up now adays if he collaborated with someone like Jay-Z

I don't like ANY Em/Lil' collaboration to be honest. Each time they get on a track together it just seems to me like a failed attempt at an "epic" song. Plus (with Eminem) it's pretty much the same formula: start off slow on the verse then speed up clumsily for the remainder of it.

No more collabs from these two please. kthxbai.

Wayne's decent, his recent mixtape was good, nothing special, minus the Lil B track, that shit sucked.

Nikki...

And drake? Decent, good for when you got the love going on :smoking:

Fair enough about not wanting to hear Lil Wayne on an Eminem song, but it doesn't change the fact that when he collaborates with Lil Wayne, he produces fantastic verses. I agree, I don't doubt he would spit a raw verse with artists such as Jay-Z, but for some reason he works very well with Wayne. I'm far from the biggest Wayne fan by the way lol.
