What makes Eminem so great?

That is my question. I ask it myself very often, Eminem has a very wide fan base because he does mainstream and not underground like many rappers do. But he came from the underground tough. He has good lines, and not about women and money thats a . Also he is very good technicly with his rhymes.

But i think his delivery is poor, and his voice is so. Last years he has delivered less good songs then he used too. The lyrics are more poor, but technicly he is still as good i think.
In my opinion Eminem is a bit over rated because he is a white rapper. I mean no offense and if ur offended then you take it wrong, im just giving my opinion
