Damn, I've never heard about that. Could be. Could also just be a coincidence, Em seems to fall back on Eric and Erica as kids' names in a couple of his songs.

That would also make sense, because Eric Harris [which coincidentally also rhymes with terrace] was one of the two people who shot all the kids at Columbine.

I always just thought it was assumed he was talking about Eric Clapton's kid. Kind of a tounge in cheek (albeit fucked up) way of saying "Listen, shit's going to happen and you should look in the mirror before you start blaming me"

But while on the subject....Clapton's tribute to his son "Tears in Heaven" would have made for such a sick sample for Em to use on a Proof tribute track and there is no way in hell he would have wasted an opportunity to make a classic song had he got to use it. A "Thug's Mansion" type beat.

It's not as fucked up as talking about Columbine repeatedly. Plus, I was thinking about this the other day. The name Terrance rhymes with "terrace" and "parents" better than Eric. So he was obviously referencing Eric Clapton.
