This is a classic right there so I wouldn't even bother to think what would it be if it was a solo album 'cuz it fits great as a group one IMO.
Great artists expand & prove themselves outside their solo careers & a group album & his own label is exactly what EM needed at the time so it was great move overall.
Actually there were 'The Outsidaz' & 'Bad Meets Evil' projects in the making after 'TSSLP' but it wasn't the right time & Interscope waited for EM to drop 'TMMLP' first. After that EM started Shady Records & it was way more complicated so D12 got the green light instead. EM did try to sign 'The Outsidaz' as a group & then Young Zee as a solo artist but it didn't work either 'cuz of Jimmy or other complications.
As a matter of fact EM duo album was long overdue too 'cuz he obviously can expand successfully with whatever as an artist.
On top of my head the only other artists besides EM who's got successful commercial career as a solo artist, part of duo group & part of a group (3 or more different acts) are Snoop & Method Man. Ice Cube's got successful 3 acts career too but it is as a solo artist & with two different groups which is slightly easier to achieve.
The phenomenal thing is EM could go on & be successful commercially with at least two more acts.

I aprove of this hypothesis :y:

Would have been a killer album! And yes, the original is a classic album.. But only because eminem is on it. The most of d12 had sucky as verses with the exeption of proof. I know it... And you know it. Peace

Devils Night aint a classic. It had some great Em verses and some decent/good verses from Swift/Proof/Kuniva/Porter, and horrible verses from Bizarre. Its got a couple great tracks but most are very forgettable. Its a must have for big Eminem fans but it aint something every hiphop head show have in their collection.

Or he'd be dead because Proof's death wouldn't have affected him as much and he wouldn't have been motivated to get off drugs at all, eventually spiraling.

Or we'd have Encore Em forever.
