Why is it that whenever an artist like Drake or Weezy releases a long song, the don't receive hate, nor get bashed on.

But the second Eminem releases a love song like "Love the Way You Lie" or "Space Bound", suddenly, he's the biggest, softest, queer on this planet.

Explain. I don't understand peoples logic these days..

Wayne or Drake never made songs as good & raw as Kill You or Still Don't Give A Fuck. Hell Drake's entire career has been based on soft ass love songs to eat ice cream to, dude's next project is probably gonna be the soundtrack for the next Sex In The City movie. Drake/Wayne are not similar artists to Eminem. If Drake came out & made a song about murdering girls & doing drugs, his fanbase of heartbroken teenage sluts & homosexual drama club members would react the same way that we do to Em making LTYWL. its normal for people to be shocked. Eminem just doesnt write love songs end of story unless its like some heart deep song for his daughter but beside that he would always find a way to make a love song yet make it an anti love song ala superman. seeing him do songs like space bound probably took people a back because he wasnt rapping about the usual "this is what i think of whores and what ill do to them" but instead is explaining how they make him feel. Plus this is the same guy that was rapping about not giving a fuck and raping his own mother, its understandable its the opposite of his image. As for Wayne and Drake i hate to bring the race card in (im black myself) but i guess because of their race they get passed off more easy whereas Eminem its kind of like "white faggot mussy ass shit" There is also the fact that both arent really taken seriously by much people, How To Love really? Yeah well they get praised for broaching that topic like they're innovative...

Thing is, they do it in such a redundant, predictable way. Their lyrics and conviction are embarrassing and they sound like pop stars rapping.

Em on the other hand, has always wrote about love in a more sophisticated way. Even on "Crazy In Love", the lyrics on that are just... way way way above anything I've ever heard come out of Drake's mouth or Lil Wayne's mouth on the subject.

They're so adult and real, and they always have a poetic edge and expression to them.

He's getting better at it too. His lyricism in "Space Bound" and "25 to Life" (I know it's about hip-hop but the lyricism is still akin to relationship lyricism) are some of the most astute lyrics on the topic I've ever heard in hip-hop. And he has such a precision and verbal energy too.

It's just absurd to me when I see people say things like Wayne is the best rapper alive or even close to Em, really it is. It's not even close, even on this subject-matter. He's so lowly in comparison.

I never understood it either. Em's love songs aren't isnt cheesy shit like Wayne "How to Love" or Drake's entire CD. I feel his love songs are more rough arent the edges and in a lane all their own.
