Eminem to star in feature adaptation of Have Gun

Eminem (8 Mile) is attached to star in a contemporary feature adaptation of the CBS series Have Gun -- Will Travel for Paramount Pictures, says Variety.

Paramount-based Interscope/Shady/Aftermath Films will produce, with credits going to Jimmy Iovine and Eminem's manager Paul Rosenberg. ISA's Stuart Parr and Gene Kirkwood are also expected to receive some producer credit along with the property's original rights holders.

Debuting in September 1957, the TV Western starred Richard Boone as Paladin, a gunfighter-for-hire.

The concept will be updated to contemporary times and see Eminem playing a bounty hunter. The setting could be Eminem's hometown of Detroit, but those details have yet to be worked out.

Rosenberg told the trade that the vehicle will be revamped from the original, with some characters based loosely on ones from the series as well as nods to certain story points.

Eminem will also be involved in either the soundtrack or scoring.

he wont rap in it

he said that in a next movie (after 8mile) he would use his acting talent and not use his rap talent to play in a movie...

i also hope this is true,cos in 2003 they said here in a spanish magazine that he was going to star in a movie called "Golden Kid" about a guy who did boxing but here i am still waiting 4 that movie :unsure:

i think they were just telling a fucking rumour,damn that magazine
