"the real slim shady" in 2000 got me hooked, then brought MMLP, didnt know at the time that he was the same guy who made "My name is" a year before.

Actually the first song I heard from him was Hi my name is (the edited version) and I hated it!!

It was really annoying!!

However- I then heard Stan and loved it- ANd my opinion changed (obviously) when I realised the guy was just completely nuts...(and entertaining!!)

As time has gone by he has become one of my favourite artists and I consider myself to be a total fan (perhaps Stanish (a little )... however not that extreme ) - which again , is pretty obvious since I am here!

the first song I heard was Lose Yourself and I got hooked on by the lyrics. Then I explored further and discovered a few more songs by him. Few years later, I'm his Stan.

I started listening to his music when Encore dropped. My mum and other people told me his language was very rude and he said a lot of bad things so I was put off by the idea of Eminem. Then, my sister told me that her friend who used to love Eminem started to hate him because she realized that he didn't give a shit about his fans. I was further put off but one day I heard The Real Slim Shady on TV and I loved it. And that was it, from there I got into Eminem about the time Encore was out.

I heard "My Name Is" and stole my dad's copy of the CD and I've been a fan ever since. That's right mother fuckers. I was like 9 rockin wit Eminem from the start!

I was copying songs from a friend's computer, and some of them were eminem. of course at the time I didn't know they were eminem, none of the songs were really labeled. I listened to them before copying. but they were from encore, and I copied songs like 'just lose it', 'rain man', 'big weenie', and 'crazy in love'. not his good songs though, apparently.

I burned all the songs onto a disc, and I listened to my music with a portable CD player. then one day I bought an ipod. I ripped all of my CDs onto a computer. since none of the songs were labeled, I had to search for lyrics on the internet and figure out the names myself.
"Oh wow, eminem? didn't people used to talk about him talking about killing his mom?"
and like people used to talk about him being a bad person and all that bullshit.

so one day I searched for eminem in the itunes store, and I browsed through songs and bought some. I don't remember which ones though, but I liked them. Over the next several months, I liked eminem more and more, and realized he was one of the greatest men that ever lived. I could relate to what he was saying in his songs, and anyone who said he was a bad person was a damn motherfucking fool. eminem is pretty much the only celebrity I really give a shit about. one day I saw 8 mile on TV, and found 'lose yourself'.
eminem pretty much motivated me to live my life.
