which song do you think creates the best character? don't pick one just because it's your favorite song or not pick one because it's your least favorite song. it doesn't have to be the most lyrical song nor the least lyrical. just whichever song has the most interesting, most believable, funniest, etc... whatever you feel makes it the best one.

and because i predict half of you picking "Stan", that one doesn't count

anyway, i think "Music Box" has the most interesting/ convincing character. the guy that the song is about isn't depicted as some psycho killer that knows he's a psycho. but more a guy who legitimately feels it's normal for him to have a music box in a chest full of body parts. or it's natural to dance with dead bodies. the guy seems to have this kind of innocence with things that are so strange as though if you asked him why he does it he'd be confused as to why you asked.

i like that better than the songs about people who kill people simply because they can.
