Em's funny songs...Do you like them?

I don't think Relapse 2 will be complete without some kind of a funny Em track. Most of Em's tracks have some kind of humour in them, but I just love his jokey songs like My Band, Purple Pills, Get My Gun.

Hopefully the D12 collab will be upbeat and a little less serious than this album sounds. I want it to be like the songs I mentioned.

Even both TES and MMLP had funny / poppy Em songs. I think it's important for an Em album.

The one I like the most is "Without Me" that was class. Otherwise, I'm getting very tired of Em's funny songs. Alot of things make me laugh but a rap song seldom does because I listen to rap to hear heartfelt expression and music not "humour" anyway. And I know humour runs through many of Em's lyrics but I'm always just focusing on his technical skill and how much skill he has with words.

My Fault is black humor @ its finest. "Shut up slut, chew up this mushroom."

The Kids is pretty funny too. he hasn't made a funny song since My Dad's Gone Crazy.

I like good 'funny' song, a song doesn't need to be serious to be good. SSLP is a classic and it's full of humor (twisted humor). However Em doesn't have a good funny song in forever. He still have some funny lines here and there though. That said I do want funny songs in R2 but they MUST be good, it helps balance the album, an album full of serious songs is too tense to listen to everyday
