What if Recovery is packaged with Detox?

Both come out on the same day and they are packaged together, so anyone buying Recovery also has to buy Detox. I bet Dre would like that cuz I don't see detox doing over 200k first week. And it would make sense as a theme.

It would become a double album. So all sales would count 2x.

It would pull in two different crowds, almost like the old days when Eminem and Dre drew from each other's fan base.

Eminem fans would still buy no matter what. Plus there would be more people who have been turned off to Em buying for Detox.

First week sales would be... 650K from those who would buy Recovery, and an additional 150K from those who want Detox. 800K x 2. Thats like... a billion records.

Detox alone will sell HUGE numbers because of the giant wait and hype its caused and EM no matter how bad or good an album he makes he will always do big numbers.. Just no point in packaging together

Heres the marketing ploy I've had in my head for three years.

Eminem announces a tour. He is going to have 10 concerts (or whatever number). The tour starts 2 months (or however long) after the album release. The catch... the 10 cities he plays are the 10 cities with the most albums sold per capita first month. You want Eminem to play in your city? Buy the CD.

BOOM! 200 million records sold in 3 weeks.
