Interscope Pressures Eminem To Tour?

So what’s the next step for an artist when you have the biggest seeling album of the year? Go on tour of course! Well unless your notorious hermit Eminem that is! Em has been pretty absent from the touring scene for some time now, not going out at all for his last album Relapse, and it looks like he is taking the same route with Recovery, to the annoyance of his record label.

Interscope reportedly is leaning more and more on Em to go out on tour to support the album. Em wants to stay home with the kids like he always does and do whatever he does in his huge mansion all day instead.

This isn’t really surprising to me. Why does this guy even need to tour, I mean he’s Eminem! Rejoice though as he does have those few spot dates with Jay coming later in the year…

it looks as if he's got his confidence back, well at least from live performances. so hopefully he'll go on tour and enjoy doing it as well

He seems comfortable doing the festivals. I think a world tour will come, these recent dates are just a warm up.

fuck it em says he has been more than 2 years sober. i think its time for him to face the problem, i think by now hes smart enough to stay away from drugs and just say no. but in the other hand he may not have the energy that a tour demands so that may lead him to use drugs again if he feels pressure or something

@ everyone who thinks he will get addicted if he goes on tour.
The only reason he did the first time was caz of doing a movie and a album..pills helped him get the little sleep that was allowed.
I cant belive everyone acts like he will start shit again just caz he sees it. :facepalm

its not like you guys dont see drugs from time to time. :shakehead:

I dont think its becasue of Drugs or anything like that, he probably just doesnt like being on the road like that. Some people would rather be at home then traveling, and it aint like Em needs the money.

There are doubts about whether Eminem will ever tour again, according to his friend and fellow rapper 50 Cent.

50 Cent explained that Eminem found it more and more difficult to be away from his daughter, Hailie, and so was reluctant to consider touring again.

Speaking to MTV, 50 Cent said: “I've toured more than him because he has Hailie, and he likes to physically be at the house. A lot of people don't know the reason behind him touring less – but Hailie would put boxes in front of the door thinking this would stop him going.

“He would fly back [from previous tour dates] on a private plane after the show so he could drive her to school in the morning. So for him tours are exhausting.”

Eminem is thoguht to be working on a new studio album.

Yeah, that would be great. If it happens, we should organize a trip, find more people that are interested.
