Show me a track better than Till I Collapse then.
Also, being able to spit "rapid fire punchlines and metaphors" is a very crucial part of being a great MC; which, like him or not, Em has an incredible (and undeniable) gift for.
Then FUCK that! If I was introduced to hip hop and given the first impression of it being some retarded nursery rhymes shouted like a retard over annoying beats then I would have never gotten into it! I fell in love with hip hop because I was introduced to it being profound music with a broad message to help the struggle against poverty, trying to make the world a better place and shed light on the harsh realities and just overall improve ourselves as humans. But damn since I found out it's just about rapid fire spitting and rhyming dumb words just for the sake of rhyming I guess I gotta find a new favorite genre...

And lmao @ your arrogance acting like Till I Collapse and Despicable are the greatest songs ever made.![]()
Btw, to answer your demand (even though I don't have to) here's a song by 2Pac that is without a doubt one of the greatest metaphorical songs in history
These are songs with a strong social message to shed light and spread awareness of the harsh realities that many go through in life and those who have struggled through poverty and real problems can relate to it.
Eminem could NEVER create something like this.

His flow and multi's suck.
While he may have emotion and depth, his delivery, wordplay, and syllable-compound is barely a 3/10.
Eminem, Nas, Tech N9ne, Immortal Technique, and even Hopsin would make Pac look like Wayne on a track.
If all you're looking for is emotional stuff, then yeah, Pac's got it. But aside from that one form of writing, he doesn't stand a chance.
Look, I respect Pac. He was great for his time. But if he was still alive, his shit wouldn't have nearly the credibility that it does now. But you have to be more open-minded man. There's a ton of artists out there that are better than him (and even better than Em in some regards).

SatansAngel wrote:flow, multis. blah blah blah. WHAT you rap about is more important than that shit.
Swear fake hip hop heads piss me off.
2Pac dropped more knowledge than Em's ass ever did/will/or could.

EminemInsider wrote:Really idiotic thread.
1. Eminem's shitty album (and YES it was shitty...calling Encore anything less than complete shit is a credibility-ender) was made when he was on pills. It doesn't count. If Tupac had been popping 20+ ambiens, valiums, vicodins, and methadone pills per day and was two hours away from death then we could compare their work in that state. Otherwise, it's completely non-sequitur. It's an Ambienem album. Ambienem was garbage.
2. As I've been saying repeatedly for years...anyone in the world can rap ABOUT something. It's how WELL you do it that's important. Whether you like to the content or not is just personal preference. Skill-wise, on the other hand, there's no debate. Eminem isn't just "slightly" better.

Hmmm... f9
On topic:
Pac was poetic and his lyrics were full of emotions ,but they lacked that WOW factor.
K dr3 u happy now

2pac could never do a song like KIM,COMC[get it ], all this and many more had that factor that were never seen in any of his songs.
