Just explaining the logic that I know goes through people's heads when they mention their dislike for "If I Had." "If I Had" is one of the songs that gives SSLP a change of pace, adding to the masterpiece it is. But most fans don't appreciate subtlety. It reminds me of how so many people think a sitcom is funnier/better if there are more canned laugh tracks inserted. "Two and a Half Men is the funniest show EVER!!! Listen to all the laugh tracks!!!"

Also, the thread contradicts itself. When numerous people keep mentioning the same song, how "beloved" is it really?
